Initially we arrange a free 45min consultation over the phone, so you can experience coaching for yourself. It’s a chance for you to ask any questions and find out more about how I work, a chance for me to learn more about your situation and to see if we’d be a good fit for each other. Establishing a good rapport is crucial and so the ability to build a trusting relationship where great coaching can happen. If this goes well, we will agree a programme of work and get started!
This depends on the client and you are all different, which is why I design flexible packages to meet your needs. Most clients tend to start off with a package covering 3 months (approx. 6 sessions). You should start seeing some change happen at this point, depending on your coaching goals and the amount of effort you put in between sessions. Many clients decide to continue with another programme of sessions or less frequent “keeping up momentum” sessions to ensure change that sticks.
We tend to meet once every two weeks in the short term, to gain some momentum and focus on your coaching goals. At some point during our partnership we may choose to change the frequency, or have less frequent “keeping up momentum” sessions. It is important you allow yourself enough time between sessions to process our work and complete any actions.
Coaching takes place in person (depending on location), over the phone or on skype.
Yes! Like with most things in life, the more you put in the more you get out! We will agree a set of actions at the end of each session which you are committed to delivering.
There are lots of tools and techniques applied during the coaching process tailored to your needs, taken from my training as a Co-Active Coach but also my experience as a Business Change manager and other coaching methodologies. However the most powerful coaching I have ever witnessed or experienced has happened as a result of the power of listening (I mean really listening) and the strength of the rapport between coach and client. That is why I always offer a free introductory session to make sure we’re the right fit for each other.
Absolutely! The same 4 simple steps are just as relevant in an organisational setting or when working with groups. It is important to note, however, that as a Co-Active coach I focus on the whole person rather than just the coaching topic to ensure balance, momentum and sustainable change.
I work with you to put together a coaching programme to suit your individual needs, therefore packages & prices vary. My basic package for 121 coaching starts at £200 per month.
Keeping up momentum sessions are typically longer in duration but held less frequently, starting at £150 per session.
Workshops tend to start at £150 for approx. 1/2 day.
Corporate packages are priced individually according to the scope of works agreed.
